Fire in Athens suburb of Chaidari

A fire broke out just αβοωε the Chaidari stadium a few hours ago,threatening a beautiful forest near the capital.
Firefighting forces are in alarm although and there are no immediate threats to residential areas.
The fire started shortly before 1:00 pm in the Chaidari forest in Athens. According to the fire brigade, the fire broke out behind the stadium of the local "A.O. Chaidari" sports club.
At the site are operating strong forces of the fire service, consisting of 32 firefighters with 10 vehicles. A helicopter is operating in the area.
Roads in the area have been cordoned off
