Severe weather docks ships on Ionian routes

Ferries serving the lines Zakynthos-Kyllini and Poros (Cephalonia)-Kyllini remain docked due to the gale force winds blowing in the area.
Open-type vessels also remain docked at the ports of Corfu, Lefkimi and Igoumenitsa while the routes are conducted by closed-type vessels, according to the Corfu port authorities. Winds in the area reach up to 8 Beaufort.
