German media: Erdogan told Merkel to leave Greece out of Libya summit

Recep Tayyip Erdogan pressured Angela Merkel to leave Greece out of the summit, reports German newspaper Bild on Greece's exclusion from the Berlin summit, one day after Sunday's warning that Greece would veto a political solution to the Libyan problem without the cancellation of that memorandum.
"Has the Bosporus Sultan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, dictated to Merkel the list of participants in the Berlin meeting on Libya?" Bild wonders.
"The summit that starts Sunday in Berlin is aimed at peace in the country torn by civil war," the report said. And he adds: "The question is: Did Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dictate to the hostess of the meeting, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the list of guests?"
According to the German newspaper, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reportedly insisted that Greece not participate in the talks and notes "however, Greeks are Libya's closest neighbor".
"The differences between Athens and Ankara are the issue. The Turkish side has indicated that it is respecting the refugee agreement with the EU, hosting millions of Syrians. Unlike Greece ... ", the newspaper reports.
