Trial date set for Patras priest who set fire to carnival decorations

A trial date was on Wednesday set for a priest in the city of Patras who was setting fire to municipal decorations used in carnival processions.
The man was arrested on Tuesday night after torching several carnival structures in the Patras city center.
The priest's lawyer said that "it is highly likely the priest thought carnivals deviated from religious norms."
