Maria Machaira, a model who walked the catwalks in the 1980s, passed away from cancer-stricken life.

Maria was married to Roberto Machairas and has a daughter. Today Thursday her friends will give her the last farewell while her facebook profile is filled with touching messages from her friends. Maria used to be a "koumbara" with Vana Barba while with her husband she owned a clothing store in Kolonaki for years.
