Baby born to virus-positive mother is in total health

The results for a coronavirus test are negative for an infant born yesterday in Atticon hospital by a young mother who is positive for the virus.
According to TV news broadcasts on ANT1, the baby is in good health and was delivered through Caesarean section. The doctors followed all that was prescribed in the protocol and helped the sick woman bring her child into the world.
Immediately after birth, the infant's sample was taken to the Pasteur Institute and this morning it became known that the results were negative.
The 24-year-old mother is now being treated in isolation in a negative pressure chamber and the baby in the neonatal unit.
