Tourism Minister Kefalogianni's intervention after assault on tourist family in Crete

Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni's intervention at Heraklion Hospital was prompted by an attack on a family of tourists vacationing in Crete. Kefalogianni has contacted the hospital's director to inquire about the health of the Greek-Canadian who was assaulted, expressing her concern to be conveyed to the family. According to reports, the Hellenic Police are close to apprehending the perpetrators. The young assailants allegedly assaulted the 49-year-old father, the 41-year-old mother and their two children, a daughter and a son.
