Turk tries to enter Greece with pistol in car

A 29-year-old Turk proved to be particulraly... forgetful, after trying to enter the country through the border station of Kastania Evros, having a pistol in his car.
The 29-year-old arrived at the border station at 01:00 on Sunday morning (1/9) with the border guards finding inside his vehicle, a Glock pistol, two magazines with a total of 12 9mm cartridges and a pepper spray.
When asked by the border guards about the possession of the weapon, the man stated that he legally owns the weapon in Turkey, but "forgot it in his vehicle". The Turkish businessman will be brought before the prosecutor of Orestiada to apologize, while the weapons he had in his possession were confiscated.
