Greek authorities have been alarmed by messages circulating on the internet on the occasion of Panathinaikos' match against Maccabi Tel Aviv this evening at OAKA in the shadow of what happened a few 24 hours ago in Amsterdam.
According to information, Greek police - ELAS is on standby for the possibility of riots, in order to prevent tension or prevent its diffusion.
Indicative of the climate that is being attempted to be cultivated, the slogan "OAKA unites its voice with Amsterdam" carried by the group BDS Greece, whose initials stand for "Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions".
In the same call to Panathinaikos fans, there is talk of filling the stands with "Palestinian flags, cloths and scarves".
It is noted that the same group recently called for the complete exclusion of Israeli clubs from all sporting events, calling Israel a "killer state" and circulating a digital poster with the slogan "Israeli teams have no place in the stadiums" while its members also protested on the sidelines of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
