Fire breaks out in Pagrati bar during birthday party
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Panic broke out at a popular bar in Pagrati on Sunday night when a fire broke out from sparklers on a birthday cake, slightly injuring six people.
People ran for their lives in panic as they saw the flames. The fire also short-circuited Christmas lights, causing a small explosion and breaking the shop's windows
How the fire started
Videos that have come to light show that the fire was caused when sparks from the sparklers were thrown onto the Christmas decorations hanging from the shop's ceiling.
The fire spread very quickly and suddenly a flaming ball fell on the heads of the patrons, slightly injuring six of them.
As expected, this event caused a stir among the patrons, who immediately ran outside to save themselves, while eight firefighters arrived at the scene with three vehicles, however, they did not need to intervene, as the fire had already been extinguished.
