President Tassoulas visits Cyprus' Buffer Zone

President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine Tassoulas, who is currently on an official visit to Cyprus, was met by Cyprus' President Nikos Christodoulides and Nicosia Mayor Charalambos Prountzos during his visit on Thursday to the Nicosia City Hall. Tassoulas was given a tour of the Buffer Zone in the old city and paid a visit to the CYENS Excellence Centre.
Later, Tassoulas attended a memorial service at the Monument for the Fallen and Missing of the Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK) that was held at ELDYK military camp in Malounta. The Greek president laid a wreath at the monument and was shown around the camp's museum.
Afterwards, Tassoulas went to the Imprisoned Graves where he was welcomed by Cyprus' Justice and Public Order Minister Marios Hartsiotis.
On Friday, Tassoulas will visit the military cemetery and war memorial of Makedonitissa (Makedonotissa Tomb).
Tassoulas also met with the Archbishop of New Justianiana and all Cyprus Georgios.
