Farmers continue their protests at the Bralos blockade with two-hour closure of side roads and the provincial network

The farmers' protests at the Bralos blockade are set to escalate on Monday, following a unanimous decision by their general assembly held last night. The farmers decided to proceed with a two-hour blockade of side roads and accesses to both the national and provincial road networks, from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon.
The decision was made in a tense atmosphere, as announcements had been made in the previous hours according to which their representatives had participated in the Epanomi meeting and co-signed the relevant text.
The general assembly categorically denied this, clarifying that "their presence at Epanomi was exclusively in an observer role and without any authorization or decision of the blockade."
At the same time, they declared that they fully support the Panhellenic Committee of the Blockades in which they participate and completely identify with the decisions and the framework that has been agreed upon, rejecting any different interpretation.
In their decision, they reiterated that, despite the escalation of the protests, they will continue to show social responsibility, facilitating traffic in view of the departure and return of holiday travelers.
