Konstantinos Mitsotakis, the son of the Prime Minister, proposed to his beloved Maria Sakkari with a video from the United Cup giving a glimpse of the impressive solitaire.
The news about the marriage proposal was revealed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the first coffee of the year with Kostas Tasoulas in Kolonaki.
Around the same time, the United Cup account shared a video showing Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas at the airport and talking to the camera about their participation in the international tennis competition to be held in Australia.
The two athletes were calling on the public to support them with their presence at the competition in Perth, but the most observant - or more correctly the most informed - spotted the impressive solitaire engagement ring on the tennis player's left hand.

Constantinos Mitsotakis' marriage proposal to his partner of five years, Maria Sakkari, reportedly took place over Christmas, with the athlete then flying to Perth.
