Maria Karystianou said: “We are collecting signatures, the start is now official, tomorrow (Monday 18/5) we will also submit it to the Supreme Court.”

However, a little later she clarified that she will not go directly to the Supreme Court, as signatures are also expected from people in the region. “We are all writing History together, the good and correct History,” he added, thanking those present for their participation.

Maria Gratsia, for her part, stated: “I hope that everything goes as planned and that we have the best results for our country.”

The evening also had a... Russian flavor, since the decades-long Moscow correspondent Thanasis Avgerinos was present, who helped people fill out the forms and is expected to take over as a press representative for the new party. Also, the live broadcast was taken over by the president of the Greek Community of St. Petersburg and businessman, Stratos Siourdakis.

According to testimonies from those present, their reasons for participating were “for the good of our children,” “for the freedom of young people,” and “to turn the page.”

The official presentation of the new party by Mrs. Karystianou is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, at the "Olympion" cinema in Thessaloniki, the feast day of Saints Constantine and Helen.

The filing of the founding declaration with the Areopagus was scheduled for today, but will be delayed for a few days, as there are members and executives from all over Greece who want to participate and were unable to be in Athens. For this reason, it was decided to extend the collection of signatures, so that those who have already expressed their interest from provincial cities can also participate.

The executives of the new party are seeking to collect over 70,000 signatures by the end of June.
