The passport of the Chinese woman who has been missing for four months was found torn in the Galatsi Grove.

The travel document was found approximately four months after the disappearance of the 50-year-old, whose traces were lost on May 20, 2026 from Artemida, where she lived with her Greek husband.

The condition in which the passport was found is estimated to indicate that it had been in the specific location for a considerable period of time. The find was delivered to the forensic laboratories, where it is being examined in order to confirm its identity with certainty.

At the same time, a search was carried out in the Galatsi area, with the authorities searching for any other evidence that could be linked to Yu Ting's disappearance.

Of particular importance is the fact that the passport was found in a different area than the 50-year-old's mobile phone, which had been found in the center of Athens.

The investigations into Yu Ting's disappearance remain in full swing, with the participation of the Greek and Chinese authorities, as well as Interpol, in an effort to gather evidence that could provide answers about what happened to the 50-year-old.

In this context, the route she allegedly followed on Patision Street, in the area of ​​Amerikis Square, is also being examined. Her last known trace is located there and for this reason this specific point is of particular interest to the investigation.

The evidence that has been added to the case also includes a recent statement from a woman from Thessaloniki. This particular witness reportedly knows people who may be related to the disappearance of the 50-year-old.
