- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (ΤΑP) project is seeking Greek companies which could support in the construction of the project, Richard Skoufias, TAP’s manager in Greece said.
TAP invited more than 25 regional and local technical and commercial chambers in Northern Greece to help in finding Greek companies which could support in the construction of the project, Richard Skoufias, TAP’s manager in Greece said.
"We wish to build long-term and successful partnerships and we are convinced that in order to achieve this it was necessary to safeguard that the implementation of the project will create the maximum possible value for all interested parties.
In this context, this initiative is another step towards promoting cooperation with local chambers and business unions", he noted.
This request is a central element of TAP's planned Education and Support Capabilities programme, for potential suppliers of goods and services. The programme, which is being developed for more than one year in cooperation with Kantor Management Consultans, has so far identified 1000 companies in Greece operating in relevant business sectors.
According to the schedule, the competitions of the TAP consortium for the Greek section of the pipeline, are planned to be launched later this year.
