Church to Hire Unemployed

The Dioceses of the Church of Greece, Crete, and the Dodecanese will now be given the opportunity to hire unemployed persons with five month contracts within the framework of a European program.
As mentioned in dogma.gr this an action included in the project "Promotion of employment through social support programs aiming at improving citizen and business services."
According to a circular from the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, the unemployed that will be hired will be employed in civic projects.
The dioceses will have until 25 September to answer as to how many positions they can fill and towards what ends by filling out a relevant form.
Afterward, hirings will follow through the unemployment agency OAED.
