Yannis Moralis asks fellow candidates to refrain from personal attacks
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Candidate for Piraeus mayor, Yannis Moralis, speaking to TheTOC made a pleas towards his co-candidates to avoid personal characterizations and below the belt accusations before elections.
As he characteristically noted sometimes he feels that he is being attacked by “representatives of all that is old,” adding that Vasilis Mihaloliakos as well as Thodoris Dritsas are persons of the “central political stages.”
Especially, as concerns incumbent mayor Vasilis Mihaloliakos, Mr Moralis noted that he will be judged by his work over recent years.
Mr Moralis said his platform would be ready next week, and at the same time expressed his ambition to turn Piraeus into a global shipping center.
Answering a question on who he would back in a second round in which he was not a contestant, he said that he was running to win, while on a lighter side when asked on the result of the Greece football cup final, the Olympiakos official diplomatically answered, it will come to the penalties.
