Samaras Promises Political Security
Today, Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras pledged to follow the path for political security, and that the restoration of financial advances is the main element of overcoming the social cost of the nation's austerity protocols.
According to Kathimerini, the New Democracy leader stated during discussions with President Karolos Papoulias,"We are determined to walk the path of political stability to its very end so we can end the anxiety of this politically painful process suffered by the Greek people".
Referring to monetary strides, the Prime Minister claimed, "It will allow us to fix many injustices...I am optimistic that we will make it". Tonight, the Prime Minister will hold discussions with PASOK head Evangelos Venizelos. The two premiers are due to discuss governmental plans, as a result of Sunday's European election results.
