Athenian Public Transportation Offers 3 & 6 Month Passes
Deputy Transport Minister Michalis Papadopoulos ratified a protocol today, that offers Athenian commuters tickets that span over a three or six month period.
Currently, only weekly, monthly or yearly tickets are available. The new commuter cards are priced between 58 and 248 euros. The former works for three months on trams, busses and trolley. Six month tickets can be purchased for 110 euros.
Now, monthly tickets cost twenty euros and annual ones are 200 euros. Three month unlimited tickets are 129 euros and work on all public transportation mechanisms. Six month unlimited cards cost 248 euros. A current yearly card is priced at 450 euros, while a monthly pass is 45 euros.
