Samaras visits police HQ

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras visited Attica police headquarters (GADA) on Tuesday afternoon along with citizen protection minister Vasilis Kikilias.
Mr Samaras wanted to personally congratulate police officers for the great success of capturing fugitive terrorist Nikos Maziotis.
“Greek police officers are the shield for everyday citizens, the shield of society, and in the end the shield of democracy. And this is proven daily by police officers. And that is why I thank them very much,” said Mr Samaras.
Nikos Maziotis was arrested last Wednesday at a shootout in the downtown Monastiraki district , during which he was wounded, along with a police officers, and two tourists.
