French woman dies from balcony fall on Crete

A 45-year-old French tourist who was visiting Crete with her husband lost her life when she fell off the balcony of the third floor hotel room in Iraklio where the couple resided.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where her death was confirmed.
According to the the state-run Athens-Macedonia News Agency (AMNA), police are investigating the possibility that the 45-year-old committed suicide and that her death was not the result of an accident.
