- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
George Michael died of natural causes, according to a coroner’s report. Oxfordshire’s senior coroner Darren Salter said the superstar died from from dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver.
“Inquiries into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post mortem report received.
As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further inquiries.” Dilated cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle, which causes the muscle to become stretched and thin, which affects how blood can be pumped around the body.
