Police in Heraklion, Crete, have arrested two men aged 31 and 32 following the issuance of arrest warrants against them.
The arrest is linked to the brutal beating of a 49-year-old Greek-Canadian on July 16, which occurred during a night out with his family at a bar in central Heraklion.
The two men, who are reported to have surrendered to the authorities, are expected to appear in Heraklion court on Tuesday.
