First Snow in the Big Apple
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
It's a winter time in the Big Apple, as the first snow of this year's unofficial winter season have fallen.
The nippy cold, back after a gradual drop in temperatures since last week, was especially felt in the morning hours.
Characteristically, at 09.00 am temperatures in Central Park fell to 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
The National Weather Service noted that the snowfall will be temporary and no snow-storm is expected. However, a warning has been issued for high winds reaching 33 mph.
