Long Island Burning Body Found
Long Island police are conducting an investigation, regarding a burning body.
The human remains were located in a Suffolk County shopping center's parking lot, at approximately 11:00 p.m., yesterday evening. The carcass was wedged between two cars, just outside a Waldbaums supermarket on Huntington's Wall Street.
The Huntington community is in complete surprise. According to WCBS 880, one neighbor described, "It was kind of scary honestly, it really is...Not at all what I expect in Huntington Village. It is kind of shocking".
There are no additional details concerning the case at this time. The Long Island arson squad and police are evaluating the crime. There is no evidence yet of the victim's identity or what led to his/her death.
