Venizelos Attends Constant UNGA Meetings
Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos is participating in the UNGA General Debate today, during this week's 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held at UN headquarters in New York City.
Venizelos is set to meet with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, Montenegrin Foreign Minister Igor Lukšić, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and with the Foreign Minister of India Sushma Swara, in independent meetings scheduled throughout the day.
A luncheon hosted by UNSC Ban Ki-moon will be attended by Venizelos, along with other delegation leaders. This afternoon the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister will participate in the UNSC debate concerning terrorist fighters in combats. Venizelos will conclude his UN work day with an EU and NATO Foreign Ministerial dinner.
