Cypriot President Anastasiades Tables EEZ Violations in Brussels
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades is currently in Brussels to attend European Council meetings on October 23rd and 24th.
During his time in Belgium, the President will conduct a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, regarding Turkey's illegal acts in Cyprus' EEZ, according to Cyprus News Agency.
Anastasiades is scheduled to hold discussions concerning Turkish EEZ violations on the margins of the European Council. The Republic of Cyprus' request to table the topic during this week's EC session was accepted by the Council.
The Cypriot President will also attend the Summit of the European People's Party on October 23rd in Brussels. The Summit will be attended by EU and non-EU heads of state, government chiefs, and EEP opposition leaders. European Council and European Commission Presidents Herman Van Rompuy and Jose Manuel Barroso will also participate.
