UN Supported Cypriot Discussions Hold Complications

According to Turkish newsnewpaper Kibris, Turkish Cypriots have been revealing critical information, concerning current UN backed negotiations between the two territories of Cyprus.

They are claiming that Greek Cypriots are causing delays in finding a solution. According to Parikiaki, the Turkish news portal is claiming that Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu's administration believes that the South wants to create deadlocks in current negotiations.  Yet, the North will continue to offer proposals, so that the two sides can work together.

Sources reported to Kibris, that Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades' granted proposals were not at all in unison with democratic standards and held a "dominant" element. The Turkish paper claimed that the major conflict with Anastasiades' requests, is that he wants a map from Eroglu, disregarding agreements made in 2011.

The Turkish Cypriots believe that if they offer him a map, it will be released to the Greek Cypriot press shortly after. The Turkish Cypriots view this act as a threat to their socioeconomic and economic status.
