Greece is about to experience the biggest heatwave it’s had in a decade, as the next few days are set to soar with high temperatures all across the nation.
Friday is expected to reach 43 degrees celsius in most regions and Larisa, Argos, Serres, Sparti and Lamia are expected to reach 45 degrees C.
Health organisations around the country are warning people, especially the elderly, babies, pregnant women and those with health issues to stay inside and to keep hydrated.
