Budget inspectors due in Athens Sept 10

Budget inspectors are due in Athens next week to get an update on the country's fiscal and economic situation, a European Commission official said on Tuesday.
Representatives from the country's lenders - the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission and the European Central Bank - will be in Athens for a four-day trip as of September 10 for the first inspection of Greek finances since the country exited its bailout last month.
Among the key topics to be discussed are pension cuts demanded by Greece's creditors which have been approved by Greek lawmakers. The EU official said that Greece is within its fiscal targets and that in 2019, the country is seen generating a primary budget surplus of 3.8 percent of annual economic output.
The two sides will also discuss Greece's 2019 budget, reforms, privatizations and its growth strategy.
