Foreign Minister Dendias visits the United States

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias departed for the United States on Tuesday, where he is to have a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday focusing on bilateral, regional and international affairs.
Dendias will also meet with White House National Security Advisor John Bolton and Senator Robert Menendez.
The Greek foreign minister will additionally participate in the Ministerial Conference to Advance Religious Freedom that will be held in Washington on July 17-18 and later attend a round table discussion on the expulsion of Christians from the Middle East and action taken by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in this area, together with the Orthodox Archbishop of America Elpidophoros and US House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi.
