Man tries to sell ancient Kouros head for half a million

An astonishing case of illicit antiquity dealings, involving an incalculable cultural value head of a Kouros, was uncovered by the Attica Security Directorate's Department of Cultural Heritage and Antiquities.
According to Police, it is a Kouros head, larger than 40 cm in size, with a neck section, with an ornate coif, made of limestone, made in an ancient provincial workshop, which makes it of unique archaeological value.
The Kouros' head was found by a Greek, in the Nemea Corinth area. The perpetrator, who was arrested by the police, had hidden the head between stones in a rural street. According to the investigation, the arrested man was looking for buyers for the sale of the ancient monument for 500,000 euros.
