The intensification of checks to ensure compliance with protection measures against the spread of coronavirus and additional measures at a local level where necessary were decided on Tuesday, in a meeting held at the Maximos Mansion chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the latest developments related to coronavirus in the country based on the epidemiological data, as well as the need for compliance with the measures that have been decided in view of the gradual return to the new reality. To this end, it was decided to intensify checks and inspections and take additional measures at a local level, where necessary.
They also discussed how to organise the health system ahead of the summer, with government sources saying that relevant announcements will be made by the health ministry in the coming days.
