Culture Μin Mendoni visits Ecumenical Patriarchate

Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Wednesday. According to a statement from the Ministry, Mendoni was briefed on the progress of the conservation work being carried out by European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments (EKBMM) at the Patriarchal Church of St. George in Fener.
Mendoni also had a private meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Following this, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Mendoni toured the renovated building of the Marasleion School in Fener and received updates on the conservation work being performed on both the iconostasis and the the holy icons of the Patriarchal Church of St. George
