Elderly couple in Evros set the table for K. Mitsotakis: With dolmadakia, shrimps, greens and beets
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
During his tour of Evros, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited an elderly couple in the Delta of the river.
Specifically, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the hut of Artemis Papakostidou, known by the nickname "Lady of the Delta", who lives in a difficult-to-reach area at the mouth of the Evros River.
In fact, Mrs. Papakostidou and her husband prepared a table for the Prime Minister. Mr. Mitsotakis did not refuse the invitation and, as can be seen in the photos that follow, sat at the table and chatted with the couple.
Stuffed cabbage rolls, shrimp, greens and beets
On the table, which had Lenten dishes, the landlady had served stuffed cabbage rolls, greens and beets. While in the wood-burning stove with oven that was still burning there were shrimps, as well as a baking tray, the contents of which are not revealed by the photos.
