Hellenic Air Force at the Top of TLP 2026
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Hellenic Air Force (HAF) achieved a significant distinction during its participation in the 1st Air Training Series of the Tactical Leadership Program (TLP) 2026, held at Los Llanos Air Base in Albacete, Spain. The 330 Squadron “Thunder” secured first place in the flying segment, while in technical support, both the 330 Squadron and the 347 Squadron “Perseus” claimed first place.
Despite the fact that the F-16 Block 30 aircraft belong to an earlier-generation platform, they once again demonstrated their high operational capability and combat readiness. Combined with the excellent training, experience, and professionalism of the HAF’s aircrew and technical personnel, the 330 and 347 Squadrons distinguished themselves in a highly demanding environment of international cooperation and high tactical standards.
This achievement highlights that the experience of pilots, technical expertise, and professionalism, combined with the reliability of the equipment, can compete with and even surpass more modern and advanced platforms. The distinction confirms the Hellenic Air Force’s ongoing efforts to maintain a high level of operational readiness and interoperability within NATO.
