Greek humanitarian aid mission to Gaza -Aircraft dropped 8.5 tons of food

A humanitarian aid mission to Gaza by the Greek Armed Forces was carried out with complete success on Saturday.
Following cooperation and coordination of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense (MFNA) with the competent Jordanian authorities, aircraft dropped 8.5 tons of food in drop zones within the Gaza Strip.
The operation was completed with the participation of two transport aircraft (C-130H and C-27J) of the Air Force with the respective personnel as well as personnel from the Special Warfare Command.
There was continuous monitoring, in real time, by the National Operations Center (NHOC).
Mitsotakis' post on sending humanitarian aid to Gaza
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, following his communication with the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, announced in a post on social media that Greece sent two Air Force aircraft to Gaza, which dropped 8.5 tons of basic food items.
“This morning, two Greek air force aircraft dropped 8.5 tons of basic food items in areas of Gaza. The operation was organized in cooperation with countries of the European Union and the Middle East and aimed to support the basic needs of people in the long-suffering region.
Greece will continue to take initiatives for the immediate cessation of hostilities, the release of hostages and the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. It is the duty of all of us to immediately stop the human suffering,” the Greek Prime Minister said in his post.
