Patras: 18-year-old Marios was transported by Hellenic Air Force aircraft to Turin for a liver transplant

Marios, 18, a student at the University of Patras who is born with a rare syndrome, departed on an Air Force plane on Sunday afternoon to undergo a liver transplant in Turin.
In a post, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis said that “This morning we were informed that he was accepted and we rushed him to leave immediately for the transplant. I hope everything goes well!”.
Marios had been intubated at the University Hospital of Patras since last Saturday. His health condition was extremely critical.
