Thessaloniki Police Hunt for Tunisian Criminal
The Thessaloniki Police Department are searching for a 59-year-old Tunisian national today, regarding an employment hoax.
The suspected criminal is thought to have illegally charged 102 unemployed citizens looking for jobs, through a fake agency operating in Thessaloniki and Athens. The fraudster charged more than $62,000 euros in fake employment agency fees.
Investigations reveal that the deviant attracted innocent people, by promising international jobs after they signed phony contract agreements. The fake documents charged each unassuming job-seeker a 600 euro fee, for connecting them with paid work in other nations.
