Venizelos Dismisses SYRIZA's Electoral Results
Today, PASOK's Evangelos Venizelos conducted a televised news conference and blamed SYRIZA for sensationalism, regarding yesterday's local elections.
Venizelos claimed that the political party was trying to act as if it was the most popular one, during initial elections. The leader stated; "You saw how they tried to create the feeling of a victory, that a forceful momentum was with SYRIZA but in the end this proved to be a mirage based on exit polls".
The PASOK head declared that the current government will prevail over Sunday's European vote. However SYRIZA claims there should be a referendum conducted on the coalition. Evengelos Venizelos stated that the two-party administration should strive for "progressive stability" after the elections finalize.
