Greek and Israeli Air Forces Train Together

Two training exercises with the participation of Israeli Defense Forces aircraft have been announced by the Hellenic Air Force General Staff for the month of October.
The exercises are in realization of Military Cooperation Program between the two countries.
The first will take place 8-9 October with the participation of Israeli F-15s and F-16s, and Greek aircraft and naval units, and coincides with the summit between the governments of the two countries in Israel, co-chaired by prime ministers Samaras and Netanyahu.
The exercise will be carried out in the region of the western Peloponnese and the Myrtoon Pelagos
The second will involves Greek aircraft and Israeli air to air refueling tankers, and will take place on 16 October.
