Greek Hotel Rates Rise 10%
Due to Greece's vast increase in tourism figures this year, hotel rates have risen by 10% nationwide, in comparison to last year, as confirmed by Hotels.com.
In the first six months of 2014, the nation rated as the 39th most economical location out of 68 worldwide spots. Greece held an average nightly rate of 122.30 euros for a double capacity room.
Last year's figure held 112.22 euros each night. Additionally, Cyprus confirmed an 8% increase from 2013 to 2014, reaching 121.04 euros.
