Cypriot Tourism Concretely Increases
Tourism on Cyprus increased significantly this past March, compared to the same month last year.
97,479 travelers toured the island this year, in comparison to 77,533 the previous March. This marks an 25.7% increase, as confirmed by the nation's Statistical Service. Tourism figures rose by an impressive 92.23% in March, on a monthly bases.
The most concrete figures originated from the UK, which totaled 41,149 travelers, compared to last March's 30,368 figure. Tourism from Greece was boosted by 50% to 10,557; last year's figure held 7,038.
Between January to March 2014, total tourism amounts finalized at 163,436, while this year's figure soared by 16.2%, amounting to 189,988, as reported by Parikiaki.
