Airports Council Int'l Awards Athens Airport
The Airports Council International released its "ACI EUROPE Best Airport Award winners for 2014" yesterday, and included Athens International Airport!
ACI is the only global professional association of airport operators. The worlwide agency represents more than 44 European nations and 450 airports.
In its press release, ACI stated of Athens, "This year's award in the '10-25 million passenger' category went to Athens International Airport. Athens secured this award due to its high economic performance in a very challenging context, its excellent work in redeveloping its traffic base while keeping a strong focus on the quality of service".
