An investigation by State Security is being carried out for attacks  and injuries against a total of seven people (including three first-year Army officer cadets) by a group of youths Sunday afternoon in Monastiraki.

The ship "Fugro Synergy", a drilling unit carrying foreign and Greek geoscientists, on Sunday began taking core samples in the Gulf of Corinth that will be used in tectonic and paleoclimactic research. The drilling will last nearly eight weeks, until mid-December.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with his Korean counterpart Lee Nak-yeon on Monday. The meeting is considered critical following recent economic figures confirming that Greece is exiting the crisis and investments exceeded 2 billion euros in the seven month period.

A Greek-Korean business forum is being held on Monday by the Korean Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Greece and the Central Union of Chambers, in the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Lee Nak-yeon, to Athens.
