A large fire broke out on Tuesday morning from an unknown cause, in a forest area, in the area of Agrilitsa in the municipality of Dyrfion - Messapion, Evia.
The fire broke out at about 8 o'clock in the morning, on Knossos Avenue in Heraklion, near the Venizelio Hospital. The atmosphere in the area is stuffy, while smoke is visible from afar.
All 875 passengers on a Greek ferryboat were safely evacuated at the port of Piraeus Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in the car deck of the vessel.
