Brexit's four effects on the Greek economy

Commerce, tourism, shipping and community funds are the sectors of the domestic economy that will suffer the biggest blows from a "hard" Brexit, which seems increasingly likely. Yesterday Britain's Secretary of Commerce, Liam Fox, said that "we are seeing a difficult end to the negotiations," just 4 months before the country leaves the EU.

IMF's Lagarde: “Debt restructuring for Greek economy to be sustainable”

IMF Director Christine Lagarde said the Fund’s board had in principle agreed to approve a “stand by loan” based on specific data. In an interview with Italian newspaper “Il Sole 24 Ore”, Mrs. Lagarde argued that Greece needed a debt restructuring for the country’s economy to become sustainable.
