The Athens municipality is putting up a house worth 200,000 euros for auction against the debt of the owner worth 751 euros.
The supreme court of Cyprus had unanimously ruled against the appeal to extradite Michalis Michailidis to Greece so that he can be tried in the Tsohatzopoulos bribery case.
"It is in the interests of Germany to aid Greece, so that the whole of the Eurozone does not destabilize," noted chancellor Angela Merkel in an interview published in the newspaper "Magdeburger Volksstimme", adding that aid is given in return for reforms and austerity.
