Composer and singer Pericles Kanaris returns to live performances for the first time since the pandemic with a strong message. The title "Up For Air" signifies the vital need to get close again through music, after a long period of isolation.

Pericles Kanaris, a Greek composer, who is dividing his time between Athens and New York. He is the producer of "Music of Greece," the first compilation of Greek music ever released by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the head of the band "Synolon," which started performing Greek music in Manhattan in 2008, and he recently released his own original music album with lyrics by Manos Eleftheriou.

Global musicians from Greece and the United States are holding an "Aoratos" CD release performance on October 7th in TriBeCa, honoring poet Manos Eleftheriou.
